A while ago Shagreen and I talked about remixing her debut EP "Darkest Place", a few weeks before the release of her debut album "Falling Dreams". It was a great opportunity to work with her music as our music shares similar influences, most notably industrial and noise. Getting to know the details of each song was very interesting, too. While remixing I tried to focus on embedding the great melodies of her songs into an even broader sound by using and manipulating the original tracks. I hope you like the results!
