This is an introduction to the music of my first project The Hard Drive.

The first phase of The Hard Drive, from 2009 to 2011, was about finding a "band sound" before the actual band was found. Musically influenced by various progressive rock bands and conceptually influenced by Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, The Hard Drive evolved into a proper band finally in late 2011, yet lost its way after recording two demos. Nevertheless I hope that this collection of songs serves as a proper introduction to the different sounds of The Hard Drive.
